As a new or potental vegan it can feel very lonely and baffling at times trying to live a plant-based life.
Have no fear! These awesome vegan podcasts can help make that transition easier and, even if you’re an experienced vegan, offer advice and support for years to come. Check them out!
Food For Thought
Colleen Patrick Goudreau’s primary podcast was one of the first ever vegan podcasts and has been going for nearly 20 years now!
She examines questions such as “how to be an effective activist” alongside more fun stuff, like “Is beer vegan?”
Some of the content you run into is likely to cause you to think about certain issues in a completely different light, it’s great.
You’ll soon know why people go vegan after listening to this.

Ordinary Vegan
There’s a strong focus on health issues and being vegan on this podcast, presumably because Nancy Mountouri founded Ordinary Vegan after opting for a plant-based diet because of her own health problems.
If you want to learn about maximizing nutrition or losing weight, Nancy has you covered.

Rich Roll
Rich is a long distance runner (“ultra”), vegan and wellness fanatic with a mission to get people healthy.
So, not every episode is focused on plant-based living or whether KFC is vegan but there’s plenty of vegan goodness in between lifestyle optimization tips.

The Vegan Couple
Natasha and Luca are among the most popular vegan podcasters and you can get access to the first 25 of their podcasts for free.
If you’d like access to the rest, they cost just $1 a month via the couple’s Patreon page which seems like a good investment to us.

Our Hen House
Animal rights activism plays a big part in the two hosts’, of Our Hen House, lives and thus, they aim to address the ethical aspects of veganism, first and foremost.
However, they wouldn’t have reached 550 episodes without doing it right and their podcast is as entertaining as it is informative and it’s 100% free.

The Minimalist Vegan
Michael and Masa promote the vegan lifestyle on the go as they attempt to live a fully international lifestyle while sharing their thoughts.
This is a laid back, kind and honest conversation between them and their listeners and it’s great.

Brown Vegan
We love Monique Koch and her excellent insights into how to transition to a vegan diet and how to manage doing so, if your partner isn’t transitioning with you.
There are no judgments here, just tons of well-thought out practical advice and reviews of her favorite products too.

Main Street Vegan
Victoria Moran’s guest-driven format makes each podcast really stand out from the last and she examines every aspect of vegan life thoroughly.
If you’re looking for an easy introduction to vegan life without any pressure, this is a super place to start.

The Bearded Vegans
If you’ve been in the vegan lifestyle for what seems like forever and you’re really trying to push your mastery of the more complex aspects of veganism, The Bearded Vegans is what you’re looking for.
From politics to Amazon, the two hosts aren’t afraid to tackle the controversial stuff and without ever really mentioning a beard!

No Meat Athlete
If you want to combine a fitness routine with veganism, Matt Frasier’s podcast is an excellent resource where he examines how to combine the two.
With over 300 episodes so far, No Meat Athlete always informs and entertains.
We liked his episode on living the van life, in particular, as it’s one of our top interests at Whole People.
