We’re big fans of the humble Instant Pot.
But we confess, we’re also big into the ability to make our devices do much more than they can now and that’s why the CHEF iQ caught our attention.
The ChefIQ smart cooker also caught the eye of the folks at Time Magazine who made it one of their top 100 inventions of the year.
CHEF iQ Is An Instant Pot On Digital Steroids
They added smart technology to the Chef iQ which means you’ll need to connect it to your Wi-Fi to get the most out of it.
Then you can use the cooking sensors and clever recipe builds to ensure that everything that you cook is cooked to perfection.
Literally said “That’s so smart!” out loud… I’ve never used a pressure cooker before so all of this is so new to me. I went to make pasta today and was annoyed that I’d have to wash my plastic strainer (since it isn’t dishwasher-safe) and just as I was about to add my ingredients, the app suggested I put the metal, dishwasher-safe steam basket in the pot for easy straining.

For the more capable chef, you’ll find internal scales, a variable pressure setting, an automated release mode and a “fermenting” mode to be things you’ll wonder how you ever lived without them.

If you love to cook then after you’ve got yourself an instant pot upgrade, we’d recommend you invest in some non-toxic cookware.
