We’ve seen the future and it is electric and, apparently, we’re not the only ones who think so.
Ford’s plans to bring out a full-range of electric vehicles were announced in 2015 but they’ve been a bit slower to get to market with some parts of the range than with others but now they have a release date, finally, in sight for their electric vans!
In 2022, they will launch the Ford Transit E-Van which will be very reasonably priced at around $45,000 or so.
They believe that this will see many of the large fleets of vehicles in North America and Europe transition to a zero emissions standard.
However, it’s worth noting that it can only go 126 miles before it needs recharging, at least, for now.
For us, we think this might make the perfect van for doing some eco-friendly camping in or even going off-grid and even living down by the river!
