There’s nothing quite like hitting the road on a bike. The wind in your hair, the breeze on your skin, it’s fresh and wonderful.
The only thing that makes it better is when you’re on
an e-bike, we detailed our favorites here.
One that we missed though is a new arrival on the Time list of the best inventions of the year and that’s the
GoCycle GXI from Gocycle.
This isn’t a cheap e-bike with an RRP at just under $5,000. It’s for serious cyclists rather than occasional users.
However, it has a big heart for that money and can run at 20 miles an hour with up to 50 miles of
electric range boost before you need to charge the battery or pedal yourself.
More importantly, this e-bike folds up super small.
It’s perfect for tiny homes (and we love tiny homes – check out our guide to them
here) or just for dragging into the office to sit by your desk to avoid paying for parking.
There are no spokes to break, tires that are designed to be changed in a jiffy and a battery that slips easily out of the frame so that you can charge it wherever you want.
The GoCycle GXI may look small but it’s a giant of the e-bike world.
