Hello Luca! You’re so cute!
Luca is an electric car developed by TU/ecomotive – a student team at the University of Technology Eindhoven.
Matthijs Van Wijk from Luca told Car Advice:
I’m so proud that we could make the chassis with ocean plastic – this is a really very difficult material to recycle, because there are so many different types of plastic in different conditions, be we still managed to implement it structurally.
Is Luca The Future Of Mobility?
Luca is a two-seater with a top speed of 90 kilometres per hour. It can run for 220 kilometres on a single charge.
Luca is by no means the first car that the Eindhoven TU/ecomotive team has designed and manufactured. Prior to Luca, there was Isa, Nova, Lina, and Noah – an electric car with a body and chassis made entirely from plants!
They are all equipped with the latest technology for maximum efficiency, safety and sustainability.
