Our collective path to zeroing out single-use cutlery just got shorter. And snazzier.
Say hello to The Pebble!

It’s an innovative, modular mobile cutlery kit that clips on your backpack or belt. It includes a knife, fork, spoon, chopsticks and even a straw.
It’s the product of a collaboration between upcyclers Pentatonic (OTHERWARE) and the artist collective i am other from Pharrel Williams.
I’m happy we’re seeing more and more companies and brands releasing upcycled products that embolden the circular economy. We’re big fans of cutlery rolls like rolle.
This kind of product only serves to drive the zero-waste message to the mainstream faster.
The Pebble Is Made Of Music
The Pebble is sustainably produced out of CDs. It’s literally made from music. Or at least the case is.
The handles are made from recycled food packaging and the tips are anodised titanium coated steel.
This kind of upcycling sounds great!
TANGENT: If I ran a food truck I’d get a bunch of these branded and give them out to regular customers. They could also integrate a USB storage device and a solar phone charger into the design. Just saying.
